Khristopher Michael Miller (a.k.a. Khris Glaring) is a Progressive Hard Rock artist and producer doing life in Nashville, TN, USA. Glaring strives to impart a message with his music: A message that doesn’t shy away from the hardships of life—the dark things that we all feel stuck in—and offers hope in the midst of it all.

Khristopher Michael, the man behind Khris Glaring, is also the owner & executive producer for Glaring Studio, and the developer his uniquely tailored guitar training method, FretHead.
Inspired by Chris Cornell, Soundgarden and the ‘90’s rock and metal scenes, Glaring has been playing and writing music since he was a teenager, and started teaching guitar early in the 2000’s. Born and raised in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, he moved to Boston, MA in his early twenties where he graduated from Berklee College of Music, and later moved to Nashville, TN where he and his family live.
Glaring has played with industry giants like jazz drummer Ron Savage, rock guitarist Noah Henson, vocalist Brett Manning and many more, but his passion is bringing to life his own music and helping others do the same.

I’ve had a love for hard rock and metal since I was a teen. Soundgargen was the reason I picked up the guitar at 14, Chris Cornell was my hero. I wanted to create a sound that could evoke the same feelings I got from their music.
Khris Glaring is my stage name and original music brand. Khris Glaring is Progressive Hard Rock.

I started Glaring Studio after attempting to work with great producers, from Boston to Nashville, who just couldn’t replicate the sound I heard in my head. They were excellent at their craft, but they couldn’t give me my sound.
So I trained with them to learn everything I could, and have spent years practicing and growing, honing my skills, finding the right equipment, and building my own recording studio.
Glaring Studio is a refuge for the singer-songwriter and any musical talent who wants to tap into and unlock their unique sound.

I’ve been a guitar instructor for 20+ years, and have learned incredible lessons from my students. The most important lesson is…
Musicians don’t want to learn to play other people’s songs, they want to learn how to play the music they hear in their heads.
So for 20+ years, I’ve tailored my guitar training so musicians can be uniquely musical.
Now that I’m spending more time in Glaring Studio, I’m only able to provide private guitar instruction and mentorship on a very limited schedule. So I’ve incorporated my guitar training methods into clear, transformative path available in an online program called FretHead.
